Useful Kohana 3 sites
Kohana 3 has a surprising number of sites up and running that help to understand the way it works and how to best use it. Here is a hopefully helpful list:
- Official Documentation
- The ORM Tutorial is useful for geting to grips with the powerful Active Record ORM class.
- The API Documentation is well implmented and useful when looking for a function
- Unofficial Wiki
- This is my current favourite and most used of the sites here. It has a really good depth of information and is a great balance of just enough hints to get started with Kohana 3 but leaving you with some work (see for example the article on integrating the Auth module).
- Deal Taker Kohana 3 Tutorials
- Deal Taker has written 8 very good tutorials for getting started in Kohana 3, I found the article routing really helpfulpersonally as a migrator from Kohana 2.
I'm sure there are many other sites out there, but these are the three I currently use most often.
